Sidney Moorer claims he was handcuffed to a bed the night Heather Elvis disappeared

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – In an Horry County courtroom Monday morning, it was revealed that Sidney Moorer, the man accused of kidnapping Heather Elvis, told police he was handcuffed to a bed the night Elvis went missing.
Elvis has been missing since 2013. She was 20-years-old at the time of her disappearance, and even though her body hasn’t been found, police presume she is dead.
Sidney Moorer and his wife Tammy Moorer were both scheduled to be in court Monday. The couple appeared unfazed by the room full of cameras as they smiled and whispered to each other before court began.
In the courtroom, audio recording of an interview with Sidney Moorer and police revealed new details about where Moorer was the night Elvis went missing. The state and prosecution went back and forth about interviews Moorer was given when he was being questioned by police about whether or not he should have been read his Miranda rights.

One of the interviews was played during Sidney Moorer’s motion hearing, and in it, Moorer is asked where he was the night Elvis disappeared and what he thought happened to her, revealing information that was never brought up in Moorer’s kidnapping trial.
In a courtroom with his wife and children present, Moorer listened to an interview he gave police after Elvis disappeared.
“Ever since me and Heather ended our relationship, well I ended it, ever since that was ended, my wife found out and all that went on, my wife goes to work with me,” Moorer’s voice could be heard saying on the audio recording.
In the interview, Moorer talked about trying to repair trust issues with his wife because she found out he and Elvis were having an affair. He explained to police that his wife kept his cell phone and only gave it to him when he needed to make calls. Moorer adds during the interview that the night Elvis went missing, he wasn’t able to leave his house.
“The trust issue is big,” begins Moorer. “When I go to sleep, I’m handcuffed to the bed. [Tammy’s] the only one with a key.”
“She handcuffs you?” questions the detective.
“That was our agreement for six months,” responds Moorer.
In the interview, police asked Moorer what he thought was going on with Elvis and where she was.
“To be honest, I don’t know,” replies Moorer.
Moorer told police he knew she had a history with leaving and offered information about recent trip she took to North Carolina where she left, turned her phone off, and didn’t tell anyone where she was going.
“I remember somebody asking at Tilted Kilt (Elvis’ employer), ‘Have you seen her or heard from her?’” recalls Moorer. “And I told them, ‘No, I haven’t heard anything from her. Why?’ They were like, ‘Nobody can get in touch with her and her parents are looking for her now.’”
Moorer’s hearing Monday was for motions filed by his attorney to suppress evidence during his upcoming trial. The judge did not make a decision on the motions, nor did he give an expected date for that decision.
Moorer’s attorney did withdraw the motion to sever his two charges of kidnapping and obstruction of justice.
Tammy Moorer’s hearing for obstruction of justice was conitued. A new date for that hearing has not been revealed.

There’s nothing more powerful than your faith. When you believe, when you expect things to change, when you know what God started He will finish, when you live with expectancy, that’s what activates His power.

  1. There’s nothing more powerful than your faith. When you believe, when you expect things to change, when you know what God started He will finish, when you live with expectancy, that’s what activates His power.
  2. When you’re honest with God, when you’re real, He doesn’t turn away. He comes to you. You don’t have to hide your doubts, hide your fears. God already knows everything about you. He knows how you feel.
  3. God’s ways are not our ways; His plan is better than our plan. Don’t fight the valleys. Stay in faith. Every disappointment, every bad break that’s not a surprise to God. That valley is an opportunity for God to take you to a new level.
  4. You will be your most productive, your most effective, not when you’re working all the time, not when you’re putting in the most hours, but when you’re balanced physically, spiritually, and emotionally. If you neglect one area, it will lessen what you could accomplish.

Shocking Timeline of Heather Elvis Disappearance and Murder

They Simply Ambushed Heather Elvis ... Planned it out ...

1:35 am ...  Sidney Moorer starts calling Heather Elvis out the blue ... Premeditated ...

3:36 Video - Moorers are Seen Driving towards the Peachtree Boat Landing. 3:38 Heather calls Sidney again. She arrives at the Boat Landing also at 3:38. // 3:39 - Business Video see Moorers heading towards Boat landing. 3:39, 3:39:46 and 3:41 Heather continues to call Sidney. 3:41 all Data Ends from Heathers Phone. !! Heather was Either Kidnapped or Killed at the Boat Landing. 3:45 Moorers are seen on same Business Camera leaving the Boat landing. 3:46 Moorers seen by another Private Home Camera heading home. Believe they either Destroyed her phone or took out the battery. Heather was at the boat ramp only 3 mins. before they arrived. In under 4 mins. The Moorers took down a small woman like Heather was. She's only 5' - 1" 120 lbs. Heck Tammy Moorer could have easily overpowered her. Let alone Sidney. ( removed the battery so it could not be pinged by police ) This would also explain the Kidnapping Charge. They've been placed at the Landing. Now, I see a guilty party. Also explains Probable Cause ( PC ) for a Second ( 2 nd. ) Search Warrant! Seems like the pieces are all coming together.
The Camera's don't Lie. Moorers Got Caught Coming and Going from PTL !

PeachTree Boat Landing ..
The Time's match up Perfectly. Assuming when one is Planning to Kill, it is done quickly. No reason to linger for any amount of time. Gun, Strangulation or Blow to the Head. Then put her in the Truck real fast and hightail out of there! Very perplexing but they certainly have the Evidence to Support their Theory. ( POLICE ) Nobody is driving around at 3 something am for no good reason and if you were, there is no reason to lie about it to the Police. Unless you have just killed someone. Moorers didn't realize all the surveillance footage from peoples homes and business would pick up their Truck apparently.
( An Old Judge from a small town in SC once said, 'God makes them make
mistakes.' Now you Detective have to find that mistake. )
Heathers car and Sydney's truck at the boat landing together on the night she disappears. Most people are Convicted using Circumstantial Evidence. Circumstantial evidence includes physical evidence such as fingerprints, DNA, fiber, etc. Even without DNA, a circumstantial case can be Won, and most usually are. Looks like a solid case.
Her phone data ends at 3:41. 3:45 the Truck is Recorded coming back from the Boat Landing. Coincidence ?
And they have video surveillance of both vehicles, Heathers' and the Moorers Heading to Peachtree Boat Landing. But only the Moorers Truck comes back out ! ... Guilty ...
Tammy Moorer lied and lied about the Conversations / Texts on her Facebook Page. The open marriage, had her own man. Bullcrap. She was Enraged and the Proof is in the Wording of Her "Messaging" ... Not looking good for Tammy.
We fear they Disposed of the Body. So neither are going to Talk in hopes that they will still manage to get away with it! They are Arrogant enough to think that. 3 Months to Plan before their Arrest. Surely they made a Pack to Keep Quiet No Matter What.
Tammy was apparently Crazy Jealous and wasn't able to control her temper. Most would agree she is the one that probably killed Heather. Not Sidney. Unless she told him too. Remember, Handcuffing her husband to the bed each night for 6 months as punishment for cheating, that's deranged ! If Sidney and Tammy could talk, they would probably claim Crime of Passion and/or that Heather fell and hit her head and they panicked. To late for that lie ..

" Heather Elvis was Ambushed ...  "

( Perhaps they took Heather back to the Moorer's house alive. This also would explain more evidence found in their home. DNA. They were Arrested after the Second Search Warrant remember. )

GUILTY  ...  GUILTY ...
=============================

1:44 Heather calls (person unidentified) who is in Florida at the time. And says Sidney just called and is leaving Tammy. The call lasts 2:20 minutes.
2:29 Heather attempts to call the number Sidney called from which is a pay phone. Several times it does not appear anyone answered.
3:16 am Heather attempts to call Sidney's phone with no response.
3:17 am .. Heather calls Sidney's phone and has a 4:15 minutes conversation with Sidney. Heather is at her home at this point. Sidney is at his home which is approx. 3 miles from the boat landing. After this conversation, Heather gets into her car and drives directly to Peachtree Boat Landing. Sidney also denies this conversation until police confront him with Heather's phone record and then he says he did talk to her but it was just to tell her to quit calling and leave them alone.
3:38 am.. Heather attempts to call Sidney's phone. She has arrived at the boat landing at the time of this call. She attempts to call at 3:39, 3:39:46 and 3:41..
