My wife is a Brazilian immigrant. She basically says all the same things. Couldn't be more proud.

"American" isn't a race, it's an attitude. This woman is American! I met a Vietnamese guy in LA who ran a drinking water store. He was so proud to be in America and knew it was a land of opportunity. This is down the street from a college at which the students complained non-stop about how terrible America was.
