Based upon hundreds of interviews, I can tell you that criminals fear a citizen with a gun more than a cop.
A good guy with a gun doesn't fit their narrative.
The Greenwood Park Mall shooting in Indiana...a civilian stopped a shooter who had already killed 3 people and wounded others. The civilian engaged the shooter within 15 seconds of the start of shooting, with a Glock from 40 yards. He hit 8 out of 10 times.
